Radio 3 Choral Evensong

Just in case you may have missed this snippet of news, BBC Radio 3 is to return its live broadcasts of Choral Evensong to Wednesday afternoons at 4.00 p.m.  This will happen from mid-September and the programmes will be repeated on Sunday afternoons.

Roger Fisher was Master of the Music at Chester Cathedral from 1967-1996, and has an international reputation as one of today’s foremost concert organists. He makes a return visit to Reid Memorial with a programme of music by Rheinberger, Howells, Whitlock and Lemare (Symphony in G minor).
